Music is a form of expression. The ending of the year at BSES was full of joyful musical expressions. From the spring concerts to the promotion day and even the retirement of custodian Bob, the BSES halls were alive with the sound of music.
All Butler Area School District students will have an early dismissal on the last day of school (Friday, June 9).
The Senior High School and the Intermediate High School will dismiss at 11:15 am on June 9th.
All K-5 elementary schools and Center Avenue will dismiss at noon on June 9th.
Please note lunch will not be served on this day. However, breakfast will be available for students.

Broad Street Elementary School scholars, staff, family, and community did it again -- fun, family, and fellowship at their Remake Learning Day in May.
Scholars and families participated in STEAM, agriculture and career activities. They also heard BSES-Ted Talks, got to shop at the BSES Fresh Market and even sampled healthy foods.
It was a wonderful evening. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success!
NexTier Bank recently made a donation $25,000 to The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Inc. via Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

The fourth and fifth grader scholars joined forces for their first Fresh Foodie Friday at Broad Street Elementary.
Using the fresh butter crunch lettuce and basil, they were taught how to make four dishes, tasted them all, and then rated them! The menu consisted of caprese salad, margarita pizza, fresh greens with homemade lemon basil vinaigrette, and lettuce wraps with turkey and cheese.
