Maple Syrup is a delicious, sweet syrup produced from the sap of maple trees. In colder regions, these trees accumulate starch in their trunks and roots prior to winter. As winter ends and spring begins, this starch transforms into sugar, which flows into the sap.

The Fifth Grade Ambassadors at Broad Street Elementary School take pride in serving their school through a variety of leadership roles. These scholars take on responsibilities that help the school run smoothly while also serving as role models for their peers.
At Broad Street Elementary School, Buddy Days have become a meaningful and engaging tradition that strengthens the school community. Once a month, classrooms pair up across grade levels to participate in collaborative activities designed to build connections, support academic growth, and promote social-emotional learning.
The Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation, Inc.'s 22nd annual Fine Arts & Beyond (FAB) Showcase was a great success. The student artwork was incredible and the student musical performances were outstanding. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success!
Broad Street Elementary School scholars are learning that giving is a vital part of a holistic education and key to becoming well-rounded individuals. Recently, they were invited to support Joey’s Paw, a local organization that raises funds to provide mobility devices and prosthetic limbs for disabled animals.
